What tablet do u have? When I use my Absroud tablet I have a problem. When I use my IPhone or iPad Utvusually goes smoothly. Have u checked your settings. Take off the spell check and just use regular typing. It helps.
It looks like a rainy day today!!! It's been raining every day for a week.
I'm flying to Denver in 11 days. I'm so excited to see my gal pals. I haven't seen them in a year. It's time to go and get out of the heat!!!

Well, yesterday, Frankie and I played for a few hours. Colleen had to get groceries. Trent and Lincoln went to a minor league baseball game. I have so much fun playing with him. Then, last night, it was too late for the bonfire, but Colleen did get to open her presents. She liked the stacking baskets I got her. Plus the patriotic wreath I made her. I had ordered a wallet from Thirty-one, but it hasn't come in yet.
Today is going to be hot, and I plan on trying to blitz this place. It's a disaster.
Carla, I hope you have a safe trip to Colorado. It definitely should be cooler there.
Mary, I continue to pray for Jim and his health issues.
Connie, I know you are enjoying your visit with Gracie. I love how happy your grandkids make you.

Hello Trish....I am glad Colleen liked her gifts! They sound very nice to me.
It is hot here today temp is 86 with humidity 68%. No going out today. Please stay inside today...it is hotter there I am sure.
I am having fun with Gracie. She is such a good girl. She cleans up after herself and that is good. Always so happy and sweet!
Amanda and Tyler really wore Gracie down yesterday!! They were doing all kinds of games outside and they were at the park. They all came in and took showers...they needed to...phew! Gracie asked to go to bed before I even mentioned it. We were both so tired. It was a good tired!!

I am trying to "pick up the pieces" as they say and move on. Yesterday was fun with the boys at the park and pool. It's not always easy, as you well know, but it's easier to do it for the little ones than it is for myself. I am working on finishing up the thank you's today. I've been working on them for several days, but haven't mailed any of them yet, since it will require a trip to the post office. All we have in this neighborhood are those little group mailboxes with keys. It's okay if you only have one or two things to mail, but not for a bulk mailing of cards.
I have several things on my schedule for this week. Tomorrow I have to take mom to the hearing aid place. She got a new hearing aid last week, and this is her one week adjustment appointment. On Wednesday, I have my long awaited dentist appointment. Finally going to have that last bit of work done before I lose my dental coverage in October.
On Thursday I'm headed up to Waco to visit with Carrie and spend the weekend with her. We never have done anything for her birthday (last May), so we'll do some shopping for a belated birthday present.
Today, in addition to the thank yous, I have a new bookcase to assemble. I saw it in Corpus at a furniture store there for $150, and I took a picture of the tag. Came home and found the same thing on Amazon for $99 and free shipping. It's just the right size for a little corner in my kitchen and it will hold all my cookbooks.
So, I keep busy and that helps. I stay busy during the days, but I'm not sleeping much at night. I wake up routinely about 3 times a night. I don't know why. And I really can't fall back asleep until around 6 a.m. Then I can sleep pretty soundly until 8 or 9. Everyone thinks I need ambien or something, but I hate to start taking that. And it's not all that much of a problem since I don't have to drag up and go to work everyday. I think I would just rather wait it out and see if the problem doesn't resolve on its own.
I need to go and shower and get dressed for the day. I just barely got all my yard stuff done this morning before the yard crew showed up to mow. Boy, that is really a luxury! I'm enjoying not having the stress of mowing the grass every week right now. But I'm ready to move forward with my flower beds. I need to call about that.
I need to call about an eye doctor appointment before I lose my insurance. I need new glasses for sure. I don't think the Rx has changed, but my lenses are scratched. I'm trying to get it all crammed in before October. I do have my annual GYN appointment in September. And I need a mammogram, too.

DON"T take Ambien...please!! I took it and I was walking in my sleep and having hallucinations and thought I was going to lose my mind. Have you tried taking Melatonin? I know people that have good results with that. It is an over the counter drug. What ever you feel comfortable with go for it. Your body is so use to waking up and listening for Butch or giving him meds. Your body needs to adjust to a normal sleep cycle. Still sending prayers.
I am happy to know you are going to spend sometime with Carrie. She will really enjoy that and you will to. You can sit around talking about baby for hours!!!!! Have fun shopping!!
As for me..... I am having a wonderful time with Gracie!! She is so well behaved and fun to spend time with!! I need all that cuddling and hugs and kisses!!
The only problem is I am having another flare up of my Fibro today. I have to take Vicodin and I really don't like to when she is awake. I just didn't have a choice. I can hardly use my fingers. I am massaging in my Voltarin gel and it isn't working as well as usual. Oh well....there isn't much of anything I really need to do today. Meals today have been easy. Gracie has been a big help!! She knows I have to rest when this happens.
Tomorrow my errand lady will be here. She said she will take Gracie and I to the movie theater and pick us up again after if I want her too. That would be fun!!!

I am really enjoying my new laptop...Nic and Tyler have set everything up pretty much as my other computer. I love how lightly I can type. I barely have to press on the keys!!! Tyler took the old computer down and packed it up. Nic has a friend that does work on and does rebuilding of computers. He said he will see what he can do with it. He won't charge for it because it is for Nic/Nana!! He is one of Nic's good friends. A good guy!! Then Nic said he will see if it can be sold. I would rather he donates it somewhere. He will let me know when it is up and running again. I can then decide what to do with it.

Hi Mary and my OFF family:
I was a slug today ... just too tired to get up and go to the Y. Had problems turning off the alarm on the phone, too. Even when I finally got up at 11, I was tired. It's the weather ... it's kind of hazy out there and humid. I really want to go back to sleep.
My friend Roxane and her daughter, my goddaughter, Erin (same person) are coming up from North Carolina after a kayaking competition/training session. Erin is doing junior Olympic competitions a lot and she's quite good. They'll come up late tonight and stay over til Wednesday morning, then drive home to Wausau, Wis. It'll be good to see them. Erin is soon to be 14 ... a freshman in high school this fall. Roxane's oldest boy, Cody, will be a freshman in college. She started having her children late.
Anyway, not much else happening. Playing with my new phone ... took a couple of photos of Juliette ... turned out nice (who else do I have to take photos of?). It is so easy to set up everything on this phone, much better than on the Razr.
Sorry you are having tablet trouble, Mary. I have a Verizon Ellipsis tablet and it's great, I love it.
